    Ready…Set…???

I wonder sometimes how I know when a story is ready to write. How can I tell when it’s time to pick up the metaphorical pen and start drafting? How do I know I picked the right idea?! In a nutshell, I ask my gut. So, whenever I’m planning a new story idea, there’s always this moment where I freak out. I think, “Something’s missing.” or “I can’t do this.” or “What if this story is really stupid.” If my gut agrees with me, then I have to go back to the plot bunny pit and wrestle the idea back into the crockpot to bake some more. #WIPMarathon Report #6 (July)

Oh my gosh, check-in time came around so fast this time! Last report wordcount + chapter count: 7 chapters into the second round of editing. Also, jotting down notes for a companion story to “Discord.” ^_^ Current report WC + CC: Editing & Revisions are done!! The Pre-NaNoWriMo Party Post & Post-Reading Freak Out

The Pre-Party & Mock Cover Pimp First on the agenda, here are the two best (of 10) mock covers I made for my NaNoWriMo story, a supernatural/horror with a mentally defunct MC, courtesy of PicMonkey.com and DeviantArt.com. ^_^ The original artwork are both by this awesome artist seen here: My Solitary Ground. I was so lucky to find these. I’ve seen other writers do this on Pinterest, but I’ve never been enough for visual aids to put forth the effort. However, I came across a Pinterest page so awesome, it made a believer out of me, and I knew I had to try it. I needed to rest my wrist and brain…
