    Personality Disorder

Firstly, there’s a fun WHISPER Interview up on Sunflower’s Blog. Go read it. ^_^ So, I’m an INTJ according to 16personalities.com – This makes me an architect, “imaginative and strategic.” ^_^ When I first heard of the test, via my brother, out of a book, I think, I don’t remember exactly what I got. I think it was INTP (which doesn’t fit as well as INTJ, unfortunately and honestly – because INTJs are a mess) – but all I know for sure was that I was offended. Of course, relaxing doesn’t mean I won’t poke at my next story. I have to poke at it! It’s so shiny. ^_^ And I’m learning and discovering so much. It never ceases to amaze me how the floodgate just opens up. Plus, I got to Google some interesting things that would make me look like a psychopath to anyone looking over my shoulder. #excited 😀 All these discoveries are great for a couple of reasons: One, I need them to tell the story,…

Watching TV Makes You A Better Writer

Have you ever considered a trip to the movies to be writing research? Or that weekend binging Xena, Warrior Princess?  If you haven’t, I’m about to explain why you should consider changing your mind. We can learn a lot about writing from movies because one, movies are written before they’re filmed, and two, it’s a great way to learn about pacing and characterization, especially if you watch movies with a full vest of spy gear on like I do. 😀 Think about it. Have you ever watched a movie and thought the pacing was slow or someone’s motives were unbelievable? Of course you have. To be honest, that’s how I learned…
