    Creative Project Hour

Bullet journaling isn’t quite for me, but I still love watching bullet journal videos. I’ve especially been drawn to reading-related bullet journals. They can get really elaborate! Painting, calligraphy, etc. It puts my reading notebook to shame! Which to date, has literally just been a list of books I’m planning on reading each month. When I do read the books I picked out, it’s pretty because I use different colored pens, but it’s also very unexciting. When I don’t read those books, I end up making a HUGE mess trying to write in the books I did read. For next year, I wanted to do something more exciting. Since I didn’t…

    Random Life: Bookish Chat

Hi! Welcome. I’m going to be a little random today. ^_^ I’m still working on getting some miscellaneous things organized, but my office is almost done, what I’m calling the art room is almost done, and I have a pile of random stuff in the kitchen and one more picture to hang, that I need a frame for, and then I’ll be done! I cannot wait. I’m used to having clutter on my dining table, so it isn’t really bothering me, but I still want to clear it off. For some reason I really want September to be over. I just feel like it’s lasting forever. Am I the only…

    Getting My TBR Under Control

The Goodreads TBR is not a reflection of all the books on my TBR. It’s only a reflection of books on my TBR that I don’t own. I figured, if I own the book, I should remember to read it. That helped with a fraction of the list. As of writing this, my Goodreads TBR is 174, down from 479. Like, can a girl get a high five or something?! 😀 After deleting all the books I own on a physical or digital shelf, except one, for nonsense reasons, I opened nearly every single other book and skimmed the blurb. Yes, this took days, but like I said in my…

    Random Writing Thoughts

Hello! ^_^ In my entire life, I have never failed to finish a project I wanted to finish. Never. In my life. And it’s probably because I sometimes force myself to sit down and write. If I’m on the “right” project I don’t have to force the writing, but I often have to force myself to sit down and do it, or it just doesn’t get done. Part of how I keep up with things is with a planner. Sometimes, having a long to-do list stresses me out, until I remember that it’s self-imposed, and I don’t actually have to do any of it. But I’ve been going back and…

    Melodramatic Reading Goal Talk :D

For some insane reason, I gave myself 9 books to read in January. >.< In my defense, most of the books are shorter or easier to read. And also in my defense, I actually originally wrote down 8 books, and that’s the goal I have posted by my desk, so really, I don’t have to read 9 books to meet my goal. In any case, it’s halfway through the month (or so), and I have read two books!! Now, I’m not panicking. First of all, if I don’t get all the books read, it’s not a big deal. Second of all, I can still totally read most of them! Like…
