Cover Reveal: Winter’s Siren!

GUYS! LOL!

First off, can I get some kudos on that banner? 😛

So, before I get to the cover, I wanted to chat a tiny bit about the process. 😀

With my last novel, I had one concept idea. Of course, I thought of one or two other things, but I didn’t like any of the mental images better than the one I went with. This time, I had several ideas! Well, I had four. 🙂 I gave my cover designer three, and she came back with the two she thought would be the most striking. What you’ll see below is concept number one. It’s the second concept I have, and the one I liked the most.

The two concepts my designer sent me were both gorgeous! They had different colors and fonts, and one had a girl on the front and the other did not, but once I saw the first concept in action, I HAD to have it! 💜

I have a snow motif going on because the story takes place in the winter. Spoiler Alert! Haha. 😀

The finalization process went much like the last book, which I found humorous. I loved everything except for one tiny, tiny thing that I harped over through four revisions, which really isn’t all that many, really. But still, I told my designer that I felt like I was being crazy, but she works with writers for a living, so she’s probably used to it. LOL!

Before I get to the cover, I have some news!

The first chapter is available to read on the author site!! It’ll be linked below. Also, I’m running a Goodreads Giveaway for some copies starting next week, so if you want to be notified of when that goes live, you can add the book on Goodreads HERE! ^_^

Last bit of news! I’m on track to being done with the technical stuff and final read-through by the end of the week. Then it’s off to printers! I’ll have copies to hug soon!! ^_^

Without further chit-chat!! It’s cover reveal time!! But first, le blurb:

Publication Date: November 1, 2017

For the last five years, Fawn has been the star soprano of a secluded opera house, forced to sing for her kidnapper.

His daughter, Devi, waits patiently in the shadows, hiding a face so horrible that no one who’s seen it will look at it again.

As Fawn plots her escape, whispers spread through the shaded corridors of dark sorcery, warning her that she must flee by the next opening night.

But when Fawn draws close to the exit, it’s Devi who’s standing in her way, leading Fawn to suspect that Devi has something to gain if she fails.

(a dark reimagining of Swan Lake)
